Greg Lyon and the Hip Operation is one of the funkiest bands in the land. Based on the simple concepts of fun music, great grooves and fine musicianship.
The band has been operating around the Byron Bay area since 1999. This is music to make you feel good!
Combining elements of RnB, Soul, Funk and Jazz, with a Jazz vibe, they love what they do and it shows in the music.
This stellar band will include Greg Lyon on bass & vocals, Scott Hills on drums, Martha Baartz on sax, and will feature Laura Nobel on vocals with Brendan St Ledger on piano.
